Porzio Welcomes New Principal David J. Carlson to the Business Law Team
Porzio, Bromberg & Newman P.C. (Porzio), is delighted to announce that corporate attorney David J. Carlson has joined the firm's Business Law Team as Principal.
Mr. Carlson concentrates his practice in the areas of commercial agreements, strategic alliances, mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance issues, and day-to-day business questions. He joins the firm after most recently serving as General Counsel for Urbain Hospitality Group Inc., an urban short-term rental start-up, and as a business unit General Counsel for Wyndham Destinations, Inc. (now known as Travel + Leisure, Inc.), the world’s leading membership and leisure travel company. From 2004 to 2007, he served as Associate General Counsel at The Medicines Company.

Mr. Carlson is a member of the Board of Trustees of Pillar Care Continuum, most recently serving as the Chair of the Board Of Trustees from 2018-2020. He received his B.A. in political science from Dickinson College in Carlisle, Pennsylvania, and his J.D. from Chicago-Kent College of Law in Chicago, Illinois. He is licensed in New Jersey and New York.
