Goldberg Segalla Welcomes Alana R. Glover

Goldberg Segalla added Alana R. Glover to the firm’s Retail and Hospitality and Civil Litigation and Trial groups in Baltimore.

Alana concentrates her practice on civil litigation matters with a focus on the retail and hospitality sectors. Prior to entering private practice, she gained experience as a law clerk for the Hon. Andrea M. Leahy at the Maryland Court of Special Appeals, drafting opinions based on an array of legal matters, from administrative appeals to complex criminal matters.

Locally, Alana is a member of the diversity committee of the Bar Association of Baltimore City, a member of the judicial nominating committee of the Alliance of Black Women Attorneys, and a member of the board of the Monumental City Bar Foundation. She also serves on the board of Collective 365, a group of individuals who use their talent, time, resources, and passion to invest in their community through community grants.

Alana earned her bachelor’s degree at Virginia Commonwealth University and her juris doctor at the University of Baltimore School of Law. During law school, she served as an intern for the Hon. Paul W. Grimm and the Hon. Paula Xinis in the U.S. District Court for the District of Maryland. She also participated in the Thurgood Marshall Clerkship Program at the Maryland Office of Attorney General in the Consumer Protection Division, where she worked as a mediator operating in direct contact with consumers, businesses, medical providers, and insurance companies to settle disputes. In addition to her civil background, she gained criminal experience as a student attorney for the University of Baltimore School of Law Innocence Project Clinic.
