Armstrong Teasdale Adds Litigation Attorneys in Missouri and England

Armstrong Teasdale announces that Of Counsel Christopher Zarda has joined the firm in Kansas City, Missouri; Associate Solicitor William Bainbridge has joined in London, England; and Associate Sarah Bardol has joined in St. Louis, Missouri. All members of the firm’s litigation and dispute resolution practice, they add to a roster of more than 340 attorneys at Armstrong Teasdale throughout the U.S. and U.K.

Zarda has more than a decade of experience in commercial and business litigation, real estate and construction law, and insurance coverage litigation. In addition to his business litigation practice, he is an experienced insurance coverage and bad faith litigation attorney, serving both as coverage counsel for insurers/reinsurers in authoring numerous coverage opinions on claims tendered under a variety of standard and manuscript primary and excess policies, and as trial counsel on behalf of carriers in declaratory judgment, bad faith/vexatious refusal and garnishment actions. Zarda also regularly represents clients in matters concerning the purchase/leasing of commercial real estate, primary and secondary/guarantor lender liability, interpretation of zoning ordinances and covenants, conditions and restrictions (CC&Rs) and securities fraud. His prior experience as in-house counsel for a consortium of real estate investment and service entities guides his transactional skill set and familiarity across jurisdictions.

Bainbridge has experience handling disputes across a wide range of industries including aviation, financial services, manufacturing, media and sports. He is adept at advising on and assisting with commercial contract disputes, matters of company law and corporate insolvency, regulatory matters, shareholder disputes, intellectual property litigation and fraud. He also has a particular interest in claims relating to reputational damage.

Bardol is an associate in the firm’s Litigation practice group. Her extensive experience working in the court system, as well as in the role of assistant prosecuting attorney, make her a strong asset to our team. Bardol has experience conducting legal research and drafting legal memoranda and proposed orders for cases at trial and on appeal. She is also skilled in case management, including preparation for hearings and trials.
