Foley Hoag Strengthens International Litigation & Arbitration Practice in Paris with Hiring of Manuel Tomas as Partner

Leading litigation and international commercial arbitration attorney Manuel Tomas has joined Foley Hoag LLP as partner in its International Litigation & Arbitration practice. He is resident in the Paris office.

Tomas assists and represents French and international clients in civil, commercial, and international matters – especially with an African nexus – before the French courts and in the OHADA zone, with an emphasis on commercial and corporate litigation, product liability and industrial risk.

"For well over a decade, Manuel has specialized in litigation and international commercial arbitration," said Foley Hoag partner Andrea Pinna, who leads the firm's International Litigation & Arbitration practice in Paris. "He has been involved in a wide range of very high profile and complex matters. We are extremely pleased to welcome him to the firm."

Prior to joining Foley Hoag, Tomas was a member of the Litigation & Dispute Management Department and the Africa Group in the Paris office of Eversheds Sutherland.

Tomas received his Master of International Law from Université Panthéon Assas (Paris II); Master II in International Business Law from Université Paris-Sud (Paris XI); University Diploma in International Arbitration and Litigation from Université Paris-Est Créteil (UPEC); and Master II in Arbitration, Litigation and ADR from Université Panthéon Assas (Paris II).
