Day Pitney Deepens Special Needs Planning Practice With New Boston Partner Meredith H. Greene

Meredith H. Greene has joined Day Pitney as a partner in the firm's Individual Clients Department and Trusts and Estates practice with a focus on special needs planning. She was previously a principal at Fletcher Tilton PC, where she was the chair of the Special Needs Practice Group. She will be based in the firm's Boston office.

"Meredith has significant trusts and estates experience, especially in the special needs and disability planning area, and a proven track record and reputation," said B. Dane Dudley, chair of Day Pitney's Individual Clients Department. "We look forward to working with her and building upon our already strong presence in Boston and further enhancing our capabilities in the special needs planning area."

Greene's practice focuses on special needs planning, estate planning, guardianships, conservatorships, adult services advocacy, and government benefits advocacy.

"I'm eager to be a part of a thriving trusts and estates practice and a larger team that can offer clients support at all levels, across multiple disciplines," said Greene. "I believe my practice is a natural fit for the firm and will help the team continue to grow our special needs practice and serve its clients in this important area."

Greene earned her B.A. from the College of the Holy Cross and her J.D., cum laude, from Suffolk University Law School. She is admitted to practice in Massachusetts. She is a member of the Academy of Special Needs Planners, The National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys, and the Massachusetts Guardianship Association. Greene serves on the Board of Directors for Minute Man Arc, the Metro West Chamber of Commerce, and the Williams Syndrome Association.

Day Pitney has one of the largest trusts and estates practices on the East Coast, and the firm's attorneys collectively have hundreds of years of experience helping clients plan for the future. The team is highly ranked in the 2021 Chambers High Net Worth Guide, a Chambers and Partners publication specifically aimed at the international private wealth market. Additionally, Day Pitney was named the 2021 U.S. News & World Report and Best Lawyers® "Law Firm of the Year" for Trusts & Estates Law, and was selected as the "Best Law Firm – Estates and Trusts" at the Private Asset Management Awards in 2020.
