Wiley Welcomes Senior EPA Career Official Charlotte Bertrand to Environment & Product Regulation Practice

While at EPA, Ms. Bertrand provided leadership and substantive expertise on several fronts, including policy direction for implementing the significant changes in responsibilities and authorities in the 2016 amendments to the Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA). Serving in multiple roles at EPA over two decades, Ms. Bertrand developed considerable expertise in conducting, analyzing, and managing the highly technical scientific assessments that underlie many EPA programs and regulations. She has extensive experience with major statutes related to air, waste, water, chemicals, pesticides, and land remediation.
Ms. Bertrand has an M.S. in Environmental Sciences and Policy from the Johns Hopkins University, and an M.S. in Safety Engineering and a B.S. in Industrial Engineering from Texas A&M University.
