Benesch Adds Partner to Chicago Office
Benesch welcomes partner Hersh Mehta to the firm’s IP Litigation Practice Group in Chicago.
“Hersh has 10 years of experience representing clients in intellectual property litigations and transactions throughout the United States.” said Gregg Eisenberg, Managing Partner and Executive Committee Member. “His work has involved technologies such as cellular networks (3G, 4G, and 5G), cryptography, Internet protocols, light-emitting diodes, local area networks (Bluetooth and Wi-Fi), Power over Ethernet, and video compression. Most recently, Hersh was Partner at Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP.”
Hersh is a patent attorney with an electrical engineering degree. He has served as lead counsel in the U.S. District Courts, Courts of Appeals, International Trade Commission, and Patent Trial and Appeal Board. He is skilled with industry standards, standard essential patents, and related competition law questions.
Hersh received his B.S. from Kettering University and his J.D. from DePaul University College of Law.
Hersh is one of over 20 new attorneys to join Benesch so far this year.
