G+T continues to grow its market-leading competition law practice appointing new partner Susan Jones
Gilbert + Tobin’s competition law group is set to consolidate its strong performance this year with the promotion of Susan Jones to partner, effective from 1 July 2021.
Susan was appointed Special Counsel in Gilbert + Tobin’s Melbourne based Competition + Regulation team in 2019. Prior to joining G+T she spent 10 years heading up the global antitrust practice at Swiss healthcare company Novartis.
Susan has extensive expertise advising clients in relation to mergers and acquisitions, collaborations, IP licensing agreements, manufacturing and distribution arrangements and investigations of cartel conduct and concerted practices. She has substantial experience with multijurisdictional matters and in pharmaceuticals and healthcare.
Susan joins Stuart Cormack, Antonia Garling, Louise Klamka, Daniel Macpherson and Spiro Papadolias who were promoted to the partnership earlier this year.
Susan’s promotion to partner further enhances G+T’s reputation as the leading antitrust firm in Australia, advising clients on complex, market-shaping transactions and competition issues.
