Blank Rome Welcomes Associate in Washington, D.C.

Blank Rome LLP, an Am Law 100 law firm, announced the addition of associate Brian P. Blake to their firm. Blake will join the Washington D.C. office’s Consumer Finance Litigation group. The group’s New York office welcomed Partner Scott E. Wortman and Associate Hilary F. Korman earlier this year.
Blake joins from MERSCORP Holdings Inc., a private FinTech company providing digital registration and tracking of rights in mortgages and electronic promissory notes for the mortgage lending industry, where he served as senior counsel. He will focus his practice on advising clients on a range of consumer finance litigation matters such as issues under TILA, FCRA, RESPA, ECOA, and FDCPA. He also brings extensive trial experience in real estate matters involving eviction, foreclosure, and lien priority disputes.
Blake earned his J.D. from Hofstra University School of Law and his B.S. in psychology from Ursinus College. He is admitted to practice law in Pennsylvania, Maryland, New Jersey and New York.
