Summary: Tribal law attorney Samantha Skenandore will be joining the real estate group at Quarles & Brady.
Skenandore will focus her practice on federal Indian law and tribal law by advising tribal and corporate clients on tribal governance, corporate transactions, governmental affairs, labor issues, litigation, and real estate. Her experience with tribal law involves matters of financing, minority or women-owned certification, labor relations, complex commercial real estate matters and government relations.
Quarles & Brady’s Real Estate Practice Group national chair Kevin Delorey said, “Samantha’s extensive knowledge and experience will be a real asset for Quarles & Brady and the clients we serve. She is a great addition to our practice and we are excited to have her join our team.”
Skenandore is also a member of the Arizona Bar so she will split her time between the Madison and Tucson offices. She earned her J.D. from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law and her undergraduate degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
Skenandore is a member of the Ho-Chunk Nation, previously serving as a Tribal Attorney for the nation’s Department of Justice. She also clerked for the United States Department of Justice, Indian Resources Section and for the State of Colorado Division of Administrative Hearings in Denver, Colorado.
