Global law firm Greenberg Traurig, P.A. welcomed Vitaliy Kats to their Tampa office. Kats will be joining as an associate in their appellate practice.

Kats recently graduated from the University of Florida Levin College of Law. He served as a law clerk to Judge John Badalamenti of the Florida Second District Court of Appeal before making his move to join Greenberg Traurig. His experience in appellate work will serve as a valuable addition to the firm.

Kats experience also includes an internship at Miami’s Florida attorney general’s office. There he worked on cases involving multi-circuit mortgage fraud and pharmaceutical adulteration under the state’s Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations (RICO) Act.

Greenberg Traurig has over 2,000 attorneys working from 28 offices throughout the United States, Europe, Asia, Latin America, and the Middle East. Greenberg Traurig started out in South Florida fifty years ago by Mel Greenberg, Robert Traurig, and Larry J. Hoffman. They wanted a law firm much like the New York ones but in their South Florida home that could focus on client service and collaboration. The firm adapted and grew to be the law firm it is today.
