Mayer Brown Welcomes Insurance Attorney
Summary: Mayer Brown added a new attorney to their Global Insurance Industry Group and Corporate & Securities group.
Mayer Brown is happy to announce the addition of Jay Kallas to their Chicago office as counsel. He is joining the Global Insurance Industry Group and Corporate & Securities practice. He is joining from Drinker Biddle & Reath.
Kallas is also a former corporate counsel for The Allstate Corporation in their investments and business transactions department. He will use this experience to advise clients on structured insurance and reinsurance transactions.
Mayer Brown has offices in the Americas, Europe, Asia and the Middle East. Over 250 of their lawyers are Chambers-ranked. The firm represents companies from the Fortune 100, FTSE 100, CAC 40, DAX, Nikkei index, and Hang Seng companies as well as over half of the world’s largest banks.
