Mayer Brown in Germany Adds Three-Lawyer Team
Summary: The M&A and restructuring capabilities of Mayer Brown just got a boost with a three-lawyer team in the Frankfurt, Germany office.
The Corporate & Securities practice at Mayer Brown is receiving added strength with the addition of Dr. Andre Schwanna in April. With Schwanna also comes partner Dr. Benjamin Buttner and counsel Dr. Alexander Taumer. All will be joining the Frankfurt location from Clifford Chance.

Leader of Mayer Brown’s global Corporate & Securities practice, Marc Sperber, said, “The arrival of Andre and his team builds on the momentum established when Klaus Riehmer joined Mayer Brown to lead our Corporate & Securities practice in Germany. They will help us execute the strategic objective of increasing the size and scope of our German offices.” Reihmer joined the firm in August.
