Six More Partners Quit Dewey

Six More Partners Quit Dewey


Another six partners have quite Dewey & LeBoeuf on Friday, bringing the total number of departures so far to 37 this year. All six partners will be joining Sutherland Asbill & Brennan, an Atlanta law firm which has 25 lawyers in New York. The partners who are leaving are: John Pruitt and Cynthia Shoss; co-heads of the Dewey's insurance regulatory department. The other are Jeffrey Mace, who used to head the firm's Lloyd's of London practice, James Dwyer who heads the Chicago office and Bruce Wright and Linda Sciuto who are tax partners.
