Dewey & LeBoeuf Confirms Layoffs in Memo
Law firm Dewey & LeBoeuf has confirmed that it s laying off people in an internal memo that legal gossip and news site Above the Law got hold of. The law firm could lay off 60 attorneys out of its 1,100 attorneys world wide. Six associates from the firm’s D.C., New York and Los Angeles offices have already left for law firm Sidley Austin and there are rumors that other attorneys in the firm have been contacted by legal recruiters. The attorneys to be laid off have already been informed and they will probably move out by March end.
