Baker & Pillsbury Relocating Offices In Key Cities

Law firms Baker & McKenzie
and Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman are leasing over 100,000 square feet of space in key cities even after most law firms have seen expiring leases. Baker will be leasing an IDB Group-owned building for 15 years. This is at 452 Fifth Avenue and it overlooks Bryant Park in midtown Manhattan. This office will occupy 105,803 square feet across six and a half floors, making it the building's second-largest tenant after HSBC. Pillsbury has plans of relocating its San Francisco office in late 2012. The firm has signed a 12-year lease for 108,000 square feet in Four Embarcadero Center, a building owned by Boston Properties.
