The Dallas Federal District Court Judge Approves Receiver's Latest Fee Request
The Dallas federal district court judge approved the latest $1.2 million in legal fees requested by receiver Ralph Janvey and the outside law firms advising him, managing the receivership of suspected Ponzi schemer R. Allen Stanford's distorted financial empire. A lot about the proceedings and Janvey's future role remains uncertain, while Janvey and his team keep receiving regular paychecks with the recovery efforts on behalf of Stanford investors. David Godbey, federal district court Judge, is anticipated to rule on a ‘motion to intervene' filed by a group of unhappy Stanford investors.
