The merger will increase the resources of Norton Rose across its six main industry sector and in the energy and infrastructure mining and commodities sectors in particular. Norton Rose Canada will be now practice in each of the three main markets in Canada and ranked among the top 3 Canadian legal practices with 700 lawyers. Calgary based Macleod Dixon is 100 years old law firm and is a top-ranked law firm in energy, mining and natural resources. With around 3,000 lawyers in 43 offices across Europe, Canada, Africa, Latin America, Middle East, Central Asia, and Asia Pacific Norton Rose group will be one of the five largest international legal practices by number of lawyers.
