Solyndra seeking to hire law firm of K&L Gates

100 AM Law firms are getting jobs in the controversial Chapter 11 case involving solar panel manufacturer Solyndra. Solyndra is strengthening its legal list to head off allegations that it cheated the public with projecting glowing finances to get a $535 million federal loan, despite hemorrhage into bankruptcy. Law firms — McDermott Will & Emery

are either representing the company or its top executives. Now Solyndra is seeking to hire outside lawyers from K&L Gates. K&L will be the special counsel to Solyndra because of its extensive experience and knowledge in areas of litigation.
