The former chief of staff to Interior Secretary Ken Salazar joins a law firm
Tom Strickland, the former chief of staff to Interior Secretary Ken Salazar has joined a law firm WilmerHale as a partner in its Washington office. The law firm is representing BP in proceedings stemming from the massive Gulf oil spill last year. Managing partner of the law firm stated that Strickland would have no role in the firm's work for BP in connection with April 2010 oil spill. He will work on corporate governance and healthcare. He will likely do some environmental work also. His public and private sector experience and substantive expertise helps clients in clients to navigate the new complexities.
