A 25-year veteran of the SEC is to join the Washington office of Sidley Austin
James Brigagliano, a veteran of the SEC is joining the law firm Sidley Austin LLP
at the end of September. He was associated with SEC for the last 25 years as deputy director in the Division of Trading and Markets. He will join the firm as a partner in the securities and futures regulatory practice in Washington. His understanding in the complex structure of global markets and the exchanges will help Sidley's clients in securities regulatory and enforcement matters. He was honored with several awards, including the Chairman's Award for Excellence and the Law and Policy Award, given to the Dodd-Frank implementation team this year.
