Michael Simon begins as U.S. District Court judge
A wave of radical changes blew over the law firm of Perkin Coie when one of their managing partner Michael Simon got nominated as U.S. District Court judge to be based in Portland. Simon took over the reign of power from Ancer Haggerty. He had worked on litigation in state and federal courts. He worked as trial attorney for the Antitrust Division of the U.S. Department of Justice. He is also married to a fellow lawyer Sen. Suzanne Bonamici, D-Beaverton.
