$6.26 Million Lawsuit Filed Against Dallas Law Firm
Jackson Walker found itself with a major malpractice lawsuit earlier this month. At the heart of the lawsuit is a former client, Texas businessman Larry Hargrave, who says the firm and its attorneys were more interested in their collective financial interests than they were in representing him. Not only that, but Hargrave says the firm abandoned him to represent another business in that same lawsuit. Hargrave now has new representation being led by Robert Whitley. Whitley said, ''They left him hanging'' and is promising an aggressive battle to right the wrongs. Hargrave and Whitley say Jackson Walker forced Hargrave out of his own business by unethical and underhanded efforts. Jackson Walker is denying those accusations and says it looks forward to defending itself against the malicious lawsuit.
