Thompson & Knight Fast Track Motor City Opening
Despite a 11% drop in gross revenues last year, Thompson & Knight are picking up the pieces in fast order. They're preparing the opening of their Detroit office and have announced that Phillip Kessler, former Butzel Long
chairman, will be leading the way as Director of Operations for both the New York and Detroit offices. Kessler is a very well respected litigator with nearly four decades of experience. The firm's managing partner, Jeffrey A. Zlotsky said, ''His distinguished reputation, market knowledge and insights will be great assets as we seek opportunities to support new and existing clients in New York, Michigan and elsewhere.'' Kessler had spent some time in private practice between his position with Butzel Long and his acceptance of the position with Thompson & Knight.
