Chicago-based international law firm, Kirkland & Ellis LLP, has been named the winner of the 2011 Law Technology News award for ''Most Innovative Use of Technology in a Law Firm.''
They were awarded the distinction from IntApp, Inc., a provider of ethical walls software products to law firms. ''We're honored to receive this prestigious award, which acknowledges the investment our firm has made to address our professional obligations and meet the needs of our clients with proven confidentiality risk and management technology,'' sad Senior Director of Loss Prevention at Kirkland & Ellis, Ann Ostrander.
The firm has deployed IntApp's Wall Builder product in order to maintain client confidentiality and easily track compliance throughout the firm. Kirkland & Ellis boasts revenues of over $1 billion annually and has been ranked as the 11th biggest law firm in the world.
