Laura is a recruiter in the Chicago office BCG Attorney Search and services the entire Midwest region. After graduating from college at the University of New Hampshire, Laura attended the University of Chicago, where she earned a Master's Degree in Social Work. Immediately upon graduating, she entered Loyola University Chicago School of Law, where she was the executive editor of student articles for the Loyola Law Journal. She graduated, cum laude, in 2001 and spent the next five years practicing commercial litigation with two well-known Chicago law firms.
While Laura enjoyed practicing law, she longed for a job in which she could combine the skills she gained as a social worker with her legal degree. Legal recruiting allows Laura to use the insight and experience she gained while working in the law firm setting to help attorneys find fulfilling long-term positions. Moreover, with a broad knowledge of the law firms in the Midwest region, Laura is well-equipped to place attorneys in law firms that fit each individual's needs. Laura believes in taking the time to get to know each and every candidate so that she can best match him or her with a law firm.
Laura was born and raised in the Chicagoland area, and she and her husband are raising their two young sons in the city.
