The ideal candidate should be a licensed litigator in North Carolina with a minimum of 3 years of experience in trial preparation, deposition taking, legal writing, and research. The attorney will appear before state and federal courts, research and analyze information, develop case strategies, and provide case updates to senior partners. Duties:

  • Collaborate with senior partners to manage complex litigation cases.
  • Conduct trial preparation, including drafting legal documents and conducting legal research.
  • Take depositions and engage in legal writing and analysis.
  • Confidently appear before state and federal courts.
  • Independently research and analyze information to advance cases.
  • Develop case strategies and provide regular case updates to senior partners.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 3 years of complex litigation experience.
  • North Carolina licensure as a litigator.
  • Strong trial preparation, deposition, legal writing, and research experience.
  • Confidence in appearing before state and federal courts.
  • Independent thinking and analytical skills to drive case progress.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Licensure to practice law in North Carolina.

Skills:

  • Proficiency in trial preparation, deposition taking, legal writing, and legal research.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Effective communication and presentation skills.
