Mid-Level Private Equity Finance Associate Attorney

Job Overview: A law firm in Boston, MA, seeks a Mid-Level Private Equity Finance Associate Attorney with 2 years of private credit, acquisition finance, or leveraged finance experience. The ideal candidate will have borrower-side representation experience, with a preference for those with experience working with private equity sponsors.

Duties:

• Provide legal counsel and transactional support for private equity finance matters.
• Draft, review, and negotiate loan agreements, credit agreements, and related documents.
• Conduct due diligence reviews and risk assessments for financing transactions.
• Advise clients on legal issues related to private equity investments and financing structures.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external parties to facilitate smooth transaction processes.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Active membership in good standing with the Massachusetts Bar Association.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in private credit, acquisition, or leveraged finance.
• Experience with borrower-side representation, preferably with private equity sponsors.
• Strong understanding of finance and corporate law principles.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active membership in good standing with the Massachusetts Bar Association.
