Patent Prosecution Agent

West Palm Beach office of a BCG Attorney Search Top Ranked Law Firm seeks a patent prosecution agent with 2-3 years of experience in preparing and prosecuting patent applications and providing counseling. The candidate should have experience in medical devices and/or life sciences. Must be detail oriented with the ability to multi-task and work both independently and in a team environment. Should have strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Excellent oral and written communication skills are needed. Must be registered to practice before the USPTO. Experience working with medical devices and/or life science industries preferred. Experience as a patent agent in a law firm is a plus. Experience as a USPTO examiner is a plus. Should have a strong science background, with at least an undergraduate degree in biomedical engineering, mechanical engineering, chemical engineering, biology, biochemistry, chemistry, or related fields.
