Corporate Finance Associate Attorney

Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Corporate Finance Associate Attorney with three to five years of experience to join its Minneapolis, MN office. The ideal candidate will possess strong academic credentials and demonstrate excellent writing, analytical, organizational, leadership, and communication skills.

Duties

• Lead or contribute to mergers and acquisitions, private equity investments, and capital markets transactions.
• Advise on corporate governance matters and venture capital investment transactions.
• Assist with private offerings of equity and debt securities.
• Provide guidance on Forms 10-K, 10-Q, and 8-K filings and proxy statements.
• Collaborate with teams serving sophisticated, national clients on dynamic transactions.

Requirements

• Active Minnesota attorney license.
• Three to five years of relevant experience in corporate finance.
• Strong writing, analytical, and communication skills.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in Minnesota.
