A law firm in Asheville, NC is seeking a Litigation Associate Attorney. The Associate Attorney will be responsible for providing legal representation to clients in litigation matters. Will handle all aspects of the litigation process, from initial client consultation through trial and appeal if necessary. The successful candidate will have strong analytical and communication skills, as well as a commitment to providing high-quality legal services to clients.

 

Duties:

  • Conduct legal research and analysis on various litigation matters
  • Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs
  • Represent clients in court proceedings, including hearings, depositions, and trials

  • Must be licensed to practice law in North Carolina
  • Preferably 1-3 years of prior insurance defense experience

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

Education:

Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school
