A law firm in Louisville, KY, seeks an Associate Attorney with 1-6 years of experience to assist in the litigation of personal injury and wrongful death lawsuits. The ideal candidate will work on complex product liability, medical negligence, and other liability matters in courts throughout Kentucky and the US. Strong writing skills and a dedication to representing injured individuals and their families are essential for this role.

Duties:

  • Collaborate with senior attorneys to litigate personal injury and wrongful death lawsuits.
  • Handle a caseload involving complex product liability, medical negligence, and other liability matters.
  • Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
  • Prepare for and participate in hearings, depositions, and trials.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and judicial personnel.
  • Assist in developing case strategies and client representation.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the Kentucky State Bar in good standing.
  • 1-6 years of experience in personal injury and wrongful death litigation.
  • Strong desire to advocate for injured individuals and their families.
  • Exceptional writing skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.

Education and Certifications:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
