Associate Attorney needed for Orlando office

A law firm in Orlando, FL is seeking an Associate Attorney to assist in contract review, drafting pleadings, attending hearings, and providing legal opinions to clients. The focus will be on general operational issues for Community Association clients.

Duties:

• Assist in contract review and drafting pleadings.
• Attend hearings and represent clients as required.
• Research governing documents and provide legal opinions.
• Focus on general operational issues for Community Association clients.
• Effectively communicate in writing with counsel and clients.

Requirements:

• License to practice as an attorney in the State of Florida.
• Exposure to community associations or corporate law preferred.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to actively engage in all aspects of a thriving community association practice.

Education:

Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

License to practice law in the State of Florida.

Skills:

• Legal research and writing skills.
• Contract review and drafting abilities.
• Litigation experience preferred.
• Familiarity with community association or corporate law concepts.
