Litigation Attorney

A law firm is seeking a Litigation Attorney for their Nashville, TN, office.

Job Overview:

The Litigation Attorney will provide legal counsel and representation to clients in various civil legal proceedings, primarily focusing on Personal Injury Law. The successful candidate will advise clients on legal matters, develop strategies for case resolution, prepare legal documents, and advocate on behalf of clients in court.

Duties:

• Provide legal support and guidance to clients in civil legal matters, particularly Personal Injury Law
• Advise clients on appropriate legal behavior and options
• Meet with clients to understand their legal concerns and needs
• Find ethical solutions to legal issues
• Communicate effectively with clients to provide essential advice and updates
• Strategize on case resolution to achieve favorable outcomes for clients
• Educate clients on legal options and potential outcomes or risks
• Develop strong arguments and represent clients in civil legal proceedings
• Stay informed about current legislation relevant to cases
• Build and maintain trusting relationships with clients
• Prepare legal documents such as dispositions, pleadings, and contracts accurately and promptly
• Assist clients with executing agreements
• Prioritize professionalism and excellent client service in all interactions
• Maintain knowledge of federal and state statutes, court rules, forms, processes, and procedures
• Demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Adaptability and comfort working in a fast-paced environment
• Bilingual proficiency in Spanish is advantageous
• Possess a JD degree and be barred from Tennessee
• Have a minimum of 4 years of experience in Personal Injury Law
• Management experience is a plus
• Experience in answering discovery, trial, and mediation preparation is required
• Experience with Auto Accident and Premises Liability Cases is necessary
