Litigation Of Counsel

Job Overview: A law firm seeks a seasoned Litigation Of Counsel to join their team in Miami, FL. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in handling complex commercial litigation cases, primarily focusing on product liability matters. The ideal candidate should possess exceptional communication skills, a solid legal background, and a proven litigation success track record.

Duties:

• Communicate verbally and in writing with clients, lawyers, and third parties.
• Supervise associates and collaborate with experts.
• Assist development and deposition preparation.
• Review and draft discovery responses, briefs, motions, and memoranda.
• Contribute to case strategy development.

Requirements:

• J.D. degree from a nationally recognized law school.
• 8+ years of litigation experience with an AmLaw 100 firm.
• Bar admission in the relevant jurisdiction.
• Direct experience in product liability and/or complex commercial litigation.
• A science background is preferred (MD, MPH, PharmD, Epidemiology).
• Strong research, analytical, and writing skills.
• Familiarity with the pharmaceutical and medical device industry is advantageous.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong project management skills with attention to detail.
