Employment Litigation Associate

Job Overview
A respected national law firm is seeking an experienced Employment Litigation Associate to join its team in Indianapolis, Indiana. This role involves representing employer clients in a variety of labor and employment disputes, including litigation, arbitration, and administrative proceedings. The successful candidate will also provide proactive counseling and training on workplace compliance matters. Location

• Indianapolis, Indiana

Duties

• Defend and litigate employment-related lawsuits including:

  • Discrimination, harassment, and retaliation claims

  • Employment contract and tort cases

  • Non-compete and restrictive covenant disputes

  • Class and collective actions

• Represent employers in:

  • State and federal courts

  • Administrative agencies

  • Mediations and arbitrations

• Advise and train employers on compliance with labor and employment laws

• Counsel clients on workplace policies, dispute resolution, and risk management

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in employment or commercial litigation

• Background in employment law strongly preferred

• Familiarity with agency procedures (EEOC, DOL, state equivalents)

• Proven litigation and client counseling experience

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school

• Strong academic performance required

Certifications

• Active and good standing membership with the Indiana State Bar
