A nationally recognized law firm is seeking a Labor & Employment Associate with 3 to 5 years of litigation experience to join its Indianapolis office. This is a hybrid position offering a mix of in-office and remote work. The ideal candidate will have strong academic credentials and a proven track record in litigation, with a preference for those who have experience in employment law.

Location

Duties

  • Represent management clients in employment litigation matters

  • Assist with the defense of claims involving workplace discrimination, harassment, wrongful termination, and wage/hour disputes

  • Conduct legal research, draft motions, pleadings, and briefs

  • Support discovery efforts, including taking and defending depositions

  • Advise clients on employment law compliance and HR policies

  • Collaborate with colleagues in case strategy and client communications

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of litigation experience (employment law experience preferred)

  • Licensed and in good standing to practice law in Indiana

  • Strong academic background

  • Excellent legal writing, research, and analytical skills

  • Ability to handle complex legal issues independently

  • Comfortable working in a hybrid environment

Education

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

  • Demonstrated academic excellence

Certifications

  • Licensed to practice law in Indiana
