A law firm is seeking an Estate Planning Attorney in San Francisco, CA. The Estate Planning Attorney will manage estate planning and business matters, draft full estate plans, analyze and revise estate planning documents, and collaborate with clients to meet their estate plan goals. They will also handle necessary documents for business formations and dissolutions, participate in client consultations, lead and work with team members, and have experience managing legal assistants and paralegals.

 

Duties:

  • Manage estate planning and business matters
  • Draft full estate plans using Wealth Counsel, including CRUTS
  • Analyze, advise, and revise estate planning documents
  • Collaborate with clients to develop and meet estate plan goals
  • Draft and review documents for business formations and dissolutions
  • Participate in consults for potential new clients
  • Lead and work collaboratively with team members
  • Manage legal assistants and paralegals
  • Preferably have trust administration and probate experience
  • Preferably have experience with Clio Manage, Wealth Counsel, and Microsoft 365
  • Be adept at using Mac computers and systems

 

Requirements:

  • Licensed to practice law in California
  • 5-10 years of relevant experience in estate planning
  • 2 years of experience in entity formation
  • Experience in trust administration and probate preferred

 

Education and Certifications:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
  • Admission to the California State Bar

 

Skills:

  • Strong drafting and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage and lead a team
  • Proficiency in using legal software such as Clio Manage and Wealth Counsel
  • Experience with Microsoft 365
  • Familiarity with Mac computers and systems
