Duties:

  • Provide legal counsel and representation to clients on environmental law matters, including regulatory compliance, permitting, and litigation.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis on environmental statutes, regulations, and case law.
  • Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, briefs, contracts, and regulatory filings.
  • Assist in developing and implementing legal strategies to address environmental issues and disputes.
  • Collaborate with other attorneys, experts, and stakeholders to achieve client objectives in environmental matters.
  • Stay current on developments in environmental law and advise clients accordingly.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years of prior work experience in environmental law.
  • Prior experience working in the environmental field, including industry, government, or non-profit work, is a plus.
  • Superb legal writing skills with demonstrated ability to produce high-quality legal documents.
  • Strong academic credentials, including a Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Currently licensed to practice law in Colorado, or eligible to become licensed in Colorado.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications (if applicable):

  • Admission to the Colorado State Bar, or eligibility for admission upon hire.
