Duties

  • Provide labor and employment assistance in mergers, acquisitions, and other corporate transactions.
  • Offer expert advice and counseling to employers on all aspects of the employment relationship.
  • Draft offer letters, employment agreements, independent contractor agreements, and separation agreements.
  • Ensure alignment of documents with client objectives and legal requirements.

Requirements

  • Minimum of two years of broad-based employment counseling experience.
  • Direct experience in employment law with a focus on transactional work.
  • Strong analytical, drafting, and communication skills.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Admission to the New York State Bar.
