A law firm seeks a motivated and detail-oriented labor and employment associate with a minimum of two years of experience to join their team in New York, NY. This role involves providing expert advice and counseling in employment matters, focusing on transactional work and client counseling.

Duties

• Provide labor and employment assistance in mergers, acquisitions, and other corporate transactions.
• Offer expert advice and counseling to employers on all aspects of the employment relationship.
• Draft offer letters, employment agreements, independent contractor agreements, and separation agreements.
• Ensure alignment of documents with client objectives and legal requirements.

Requirements

• Minimum of two years of broad-based employment counseling experience.
• Direct experience in employment law with a focus on transactional work.
• Strong analytical, drafting, and communication skills.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Admission to the New York State Bar.
