Job Overview: A law firm seeks a diligent Briefing and Research Attorney to assist trial attorneys in preparing personal injury cases. The incumbent will be responsible for drafting legal documents, conducting legal research, and providing support throughout the litigation process.

Duties:

  • Drafting discovery requests and responses, pleadings, and responses to motions.
  • Conducting thorough research for case preparation and strategy.
  • Assisting in the preparation for depositions and trials.
  • Learning and implementing proper techniques and strategies for developing plaintiff personal injury cases.
  • Collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Licensed attorney in the State of Texas and in good standing.
  • 0-3 years of personal injury experience.
  • Excellent writing skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Previous customer service or sales experience preferred.
  • Ability to participate in after-hours on-call duties.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Must be a licensed attorney in Texas and good standing.
