Duties:

  • Represent plaintiffs in personal injury cases from inception to trial.
  • Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and other legal documents.
  • Prepare clients for deposition, mediation, arbitration, and trial.
  • Negotiate settlements with opposing counsel and insurance companies.
  • Advocate for clients in court hearings, motions, and trials.
  • Collaborate with paralegals, legal assistants, and support staff to ensure effective case management.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admitted to the State Bar of Texas and in good standing.
  • Litigation experience with a focus on plaintiff personal injury cases.
  • Demonstrated success as first chair trial attorney in personal injury trials.
  • Extensive deposition experience involving corporate defendants, liability and damage experts, and medical experts.
  • Strong understanding of civil procedure, evidence, and tort law.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and advocacy skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Admission to the State Bar of Texas and in good standing.
