Intellectual Property Associate Attorney

A law firm in Atlanta is actively seeking an Intellectual Property Associate Attorney with a minimum of 3 years of patent litigation experience. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day litigation tasks independently preparing pleadings, motions, and discovery requests and responses. Excellent academic credentials, strong written and verbal communication skills, an entrepreneurial spirit, and practical judgment are essential for this role.

Duties:

• Manage day-to-day litigation tasks effectively.
• Independently prepare pleadings, motions, and discovery requests and responses.
• Communicate effectively with other lawyers.

Requirements:

• Experience in taking and defending depositions is a plus.
• Demonstrate excellent academic credentials.
• Possess a strong entrepreneurial spirit and practical judgment.
• Currently admitted to practice in Georgia.
• A USPTO registration number or technical background is strongly preferred.
• Patent and trademark litigation and prosecution experience is a plus.
• JD from an accredited law school.
• Currently admitted to practice in Georgia.
• USPTO registration number or technical background (strongly preferred).
