Job Overview:
A prominent law firm is seeking an experienced and motivated Associate Attorney to join their Labor and Employment Law Practice Group in Los Angeles. The ideal candidate will have expertise in employment litigation, particularly in handling single-plaintiff cases. Strong writing skills are essential, and while experience with PAGA and class action cases is a plus, it is not a requirement.

Duties:

• Represent clients in employment litigation matters, with a focus on single-plaintiff cases.
• Conduct legal research and draft legal documents such as motions, pleadings, and discovery.
• Attend and participate in hearings, depositions, and trials.
• Advise clients on labor and employment law matters, including compliance and risk management.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys to prepare strategies and case assessments.
• Participate in the development of case strategy and guide junior associates and legal assistants.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in employment litigation, specifically with single-plaintiff cases.
• Strong legal research and writing skills.
• Experience in litigation strategy, case management, and client communication.
• Ability to handle multiple cases and prioritize effectively under deadlines.
• Strong communication skills and a client-focused approach to legal services.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Licensed to practice law in California.
