Construction Associate Attorney

A law firm in Louisville, KY, is seeking a highly qualified Construction Associate Attorney. The ideal candidate should have 3-5 years of experience in business litigation and contract review related to construction law, possess excellent writing and communication skills, and demonstrate a commitment to serving the construction industry through involvement in trade associations and professional organizations.

Duties:

• Provide legal counsel and representation to clients in construction law matters, including contract review and business litigation.
• Conduct legal research, analysis, and case preparation to support clients' needs.
• Draft, review, and negotiate construction-related contracts, including construction agreements and subcontracts.
• Represent clients in litigation related to construction disputes, such as delays, defects, and payment issues.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys and clients to develop legal strategies and objectives.
• Maintain organized case files, records, and documentation for effective case management.
• Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations in construction law.
• Actively participate in trade associations and professional organizations related to the construction industry.

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of experience in business litigation and contract review relating to construction law.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:
