Litigation Of Counsel

A law firm is seeking a Litigation Of Counsel to join their team in Seattle, WA. Here's what the role entails:

Job Overview: The Litigation Of Counsel will provide legal counsel and representation in complex commercial litigation, particularly focusing on product liability cases. The ideal candidate will possess extensive litigation experience, preferably gained from an AmLaw 100 firm, and must have a science background in fields such as MD, MPH, PharmD, or Epidemiology.

Duties:

• Effectively communicate, verbally and in writing, with clients, lawyers, business professionals, and third parties.
• Produce deliverables, answer phone calls, and reply to correspondence efficiently and responsively.
• Provide timely, accurate, and quality work products.
• Successfully meet deadlines and expectations and perform work duties as required.
• Foster positive work relationships.
• Comply with all firm policies and practices.
• Engage in both physical and sedentary activity, such as working at a computer for extended periods of time, participating in digital/virtual conference calls, and attending meetings as needed.
• Perform all other duties, tasks, or projects as assigned.

Requirements:

• J.D. degree
• 8+ years of litigation experience, with direct and applicable AmLaw 100 law firm experience
• WA Bar admission
• Experience with product liability and/or complex commercial litigation
• Science background (MD, MPH, PharmD, Epidemiology)
• Superior research, analytical, and writing skills
• Strong project management skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team
• Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience with the pharmaceutical and medical device industry and clients is a plus

Education and Certifications:

• J.D. degree
