Litigation Of Counsel

Job Overview: A law firm is seeking a Litigation Of Counsel with a strong background in product liability and/or complex commercial litigation. The ideal candidate will possess superior research, analytical, and writing skills and experience in the pharmaceutical and medical device industry. This role requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills, the ability to work independently or as part of a team, and strong project management abilities.

Duties:

• Communicate effectively with clients, lawyers, business professionals, and third parties.
• Supervise associates and work collaboratively with experts.
• Assist with fact development and depositions.
• Review and draft discovery responses, briefs, motions, and memoranda.
• Help develop a case strategy.
• Produce deliverables promptly and respond to correspondence efficiently.
• Comply with firm policies and practices.
• Physical and sedentary activities include computer work, virtual meetings, and conferences.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• J.D. degree and Bar admission.
• 8+ years of litigation experience, preferably at an AmLaw 100 firm.
• Experience in product liability and/or complex commercial litigation.
• A background in science (MD, MPH, PharmD, Epidemiology) is preferred.
• Strong research, analytical, and writing skills.
• Experience with pharmaceutical and medical device industry clients is advantageous.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong project management abilities and attention to detail.
• Academic background from nationally recognized schools.
