Attorney needed for Seattle office

A law firm is seeking an Attorney to join its Toxic Torts team in Seattle, WA. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience in complex litigation, toxic or mass torts, product liability, or medical malpractice.

Duties:

• Work up complex cases through all phases of discovery.
• Draft and file appeals, summary judgment motions, or other complex motions.
• Represent clients in trials and other courtroom proceedings.

Requirements:

• Must have litigation skills.
• Strong writing skills are essential.
• Trial and other courtroom experience preferred.
• Must be licensed in Washington or be able to become licensed within 6 months.

Education:

Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

State Bar admission in good standing.

Skills:

• Excellent research and analytical abilities.
• Proficiency in legal writing and oral advocacy.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
