A law firm is seeking a Trial Attorney Manager with the following qualifications:

Job Overview:

The Trial Attorney Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of trial preparation and litigation management. This role involves providing guidance and direction on litigation issues such as pleadings, discovery, and depositions while maximizing the value of a case through proper development and preparation for trial. Additionally, the Trial Attorney Manager will utilize highly sophisticated software to manage the team effectively and efficiently.

Duties:

  • Provide guidance and direction on litigation issues such as pleadings, discovery, and depositions.
  • Maximize case value through proper development and preparation for trial.
  • Utilize sophisticated software to manage the trial team effectively and efficiently.
  • Manage trial lawyers and trial teams.
  • Oversee all aspects of trial preparation and litigation management.
  • Ensure adherence to legal standards and protocols.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of trial experience (personal injury trial experience preferred).
  • Experience managing plaintiff or defense litigation.
  • Experience managing trial lawyers and trial teams.
  • Management experience with a thorough understanding of leadership and management principles.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Education and Certifications:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the State Bar of Texas or eligibility for admission via reciprocity.

Skills:

  • Proficiency in legal research and writing.
  • Familiarity with relevant laws, regulations, and legal procedures.
  • Advanced knowledge of trial preparation and litigation management.
  • Ability to effectively utilize technology and software for case management.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
