Litigation Intake Associate Attorney

A law firm is seeking a Litigation Intake Associate Attorney for their Austin, TX location.

Job Overview:

The Litigation Intake Associate Attorney will manage various aspects of client intake, case development, legal analysis, negotiation, and initial litigation for personal injury cases. The role requires excellent communication skills, legal expertise, and working effectively with clients and team members.

Duties:

• Lead the signing up of new clients and manage the intake process efficiently.
• Develop assigned matters, including conducting legal research and analysis.
• Analyze legal issues unique to each case and devise appropriate strategies.
• Review demands and negotiate settlements on behalf of clients.
• Initiate and manage initial litigation proceedings.
• Resolve legal matters effectively and efficiently.
• Disburse client funds appropriately and in compliance with regulations.

Requirements:

• Must be licensed to practice law in Texas and good standing.
• 0-3 years of personal injury experience, preferably in litigation.
• Bilingual proficiency (Spanish a plus) to effectively communicate with clients.

Education & Certifications:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
